Indications and Dosage
Topical/Cutaneous
Scabies
Adult: As 25% emulsion: Apply over the whole body. If the application is thorough, one treatment may suffice, although a second application within 5 days may be necessary to lessen the possibility of treatment failure. Alternatively, 3 applications at 12-hour intervals may be made, followed by bathing 12 hours after the last application.

Topical/Cutaneous
Pediculosis
Adult: As 25% emulsion: Apply all over the affected area, then wash thoroughly after 24 hours.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not use on broken or secondarily infected skin. Pregnancy and lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Eye disorders: Eye irritation.
Immune system disorders: Hypersensitivity reactions.
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: Skin and mucous membranes (e.g. nostrils, mouth, lips, ears and genital area) irritation.

Mechanism of Action: Benzyl benzoate, an acaricide that is used in the treatment of scabies and pediculosis.
